Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Driver role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Driver will be responsible for safely operating LCV (Light Commercial Vehicle) and midsize pickup truck to deliver uniforms and related products to customers and company locations on scheduled routes.
Daily tasks include loading and unloading goods, inspecting vehicles for basic safety and maintenance issues, and ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
The role also involves following all traffic and safety regulations, maintaining delivery logs or electronic records, and reporting any incidents, delays, or vehicle concerns.
The Driver will interact with customers and internal team members in a professional manner, supporting a positive brand image for Stitches Uniforms.
Qualifications
- **Fluent English and intermediate spoken and written proficiency in Hindi and Urdu**
- **Preferred Educational Qualification: Completion of Grade 12 / Higher Secondary Education (Intermediate).**
- **Valid light and heave category vehicle license, with a clean driving record and strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.**
- **Strong communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with customers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff.**
- **Ability to perform basic vehicle checks, manage delivery documentation, and use route or delivery applications as needed.**
- **Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or a similar driving role is preferred; familiarity with Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi and UAE routes is an advantage.**
Additional Requirements
- **Preference will be given to candidates who currently hold a valid UAE residence visa under their own sponsorship**
- **Physical ability to lift, carry, and move packages and boxes safely, in line with job requirements.**
- **Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours based on operational requirements.**
