Qualifications

  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in community relations, communications, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, customer relations, nonprofit organizations, local government, or a related field.
  • Experience building and maintaining professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, events, or outreach activities.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and build credibility within the community.
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify and appropriately escalate community concerns and emerging issues.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to travel up to 30%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with local governments, chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, school districts, or community groups.
  • Familiarity with construction, infrastructure, energy, industrial, real estate development, or data center environments.
  • Knowledge of the local market and stakeholder landscape within the assigned community.
