• Commodity Trading Senior Manager or Director – Dubai / Abu Dhabi Based – USD 250k base
• Leading global management consultancy seeks an experienced Commodity Trading Senior Manager or Director to run their Middle Eastern region based from either Dubai or Abu Dhabi (UAE).
• The successful Senior Manager or Director could already be based in the UAE or based elsewhere globally (likely to come from Singapore, London, Geneva or Houston – commodity trading hubs) and be keen to relocate to Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
• It is essential that you are based or happy to relocate to either Dubai or Abu Dhabi (UAE) though once it is safe to do so.
• The successful Senior Manager or Director (flexibility on level and grade) will need a proven track record working in commodity trading management consulting (several years) for either a Big 4 or other leading management consultancy, managing key client relationships, hiring and managing teams, winning new clients and generally leading consulting projects / programmes.
• You will be joining their Global Commodity Trading Advisory Practice so it is 100% essential that you have proven and deep commodity trading expertise and delivery experience working on-site at commodity trading houses.
• You will inherit and grow a team of commodity trading consultants already based in the UAE but travelling to other clients / cities in the Middle East including in Saudi Arabia, Doha (Qatar) and Muscat (Oman), working on business / strategy consulting projects.
• This is NOT a technology consulting practice, your role will include:
• **Advise clients on market entry**
• , trading value-pool assessment, portfolio optimisation, algo-strategy design & enablement.
• **Design and implement trading operating models**
• , book structures, M&A integration strategies, governance frameworks, data foundation models and E/CTRM designs.
• **Lead analysis and delivery of AI-enabled optimisation**
• and decision-support tools for trading, risk, and finance functions.
• **Manage multi-disciplinary teams of commodity trading consultants**
• , data scientists, and developers (consultancy and client) delivering trading, risk and finance transformations, including data warehouse and E/CTRM implementations.
• **Manage and grow existing Middle Eastern clients**
• , whilst also generating new clients in the region
• Salary is open but circa USD 200-250k base + bonus + benefits TAX FREE
