Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. At least five years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or commodity management, including direct ownership of electrical or electronic commodities such as PCBAs, connectors, cables and wire harnesses, power supplies, and passive and active components. Five years experience negotiating supplier contracts and long-term agreements.. Experience with cost-modeling and data-analysis skills. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle and Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing, hardware, or electronics-focused industry. Familiarity with new product introduction and design-for-cost and design-for-supply principles. Professional certification such as CPSM, C.P.M., APICS, or CPIM. Experience managing global suppliers across multiple regions. Travel required: Up to 25%, including domestic and international travel.
