Role overview

Experience and qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering is mandatory.
• At least 18 years of relevant commissioning or operation-readiness experience; GCC experience is preferred.
• At least 5 years in a similar position on oil and gas or petrochemical projects.
• Experience on sour gas, hydrogen production, or hydro-desulfurization projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with licensors and vendors to monitor commissioning against their procedures.
• Manage commissioning progress for the sales gas and condensate area.
• Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and EPC or vendor commissioning manuals.
• Provide advice and support to the Senior Commissioning Manager.
• Verify mechanical completion certificate requirements for systems and subsystems.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and troubleshooting analysis to resolve obstacles.
• Verify readiness of systems and subsystems for mechanical completion and RFSU certificate issuance.
• Monitor and approve punch-list closeout in the assigned area.
• Ensure completion and handover methodology complies with contractual documents.

Location and schedule

• Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; full-time role.
• Onshore site experience is required.
