A leading engineering and construction organization is looking for an experienced
Commissioning Manager
- to oversee commissioning activities across large-scale solar PV projects.
- This role is critical in ensuring successful project delivery from testing through to final handover.
- 🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Lead testing & commissioning activities across all project phases, including cold, hot, and close-out stages
- Manage planning, execution, resource allocation, and troubleshooting for commissioning works
- Coordinate closely with OEMs, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Prepare commissioning procedures, method statements, and SAT reports in line with IEC and IEEE standards
- Provide technical support and resolve issues during commissioning activities
- Interface with clients, stakeholders, and authorities to manage inspections and technical clarifications
- Review testing plans and ensure alignment across project teams
- Develop manpower plans and oversee resource deployment
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout commissioning
- ✅ Requirements
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 15+ years of experience, including solar project commissioning experience
- Proven experience working on large-scale projects (500MW+)
- Strong knowledge of grid compliance, testing protocols, and international standards (IEC/IEEE)
- Experience in Middle East projects and regulatory environments is advantageous
