Role overview

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing ingredients, sauces, and dishes according to recipes and Four Seasons quality standards.
• Check inventory regularly and ensure ingredients are up to quality standards, stored properly, and used appropriately.
• Support efficient kitchen food production and timely service.
• Prepare assigned workstations before service and make necessary tools available.
• Minimize food waste and dispose of kitchen waste appropriately.

Preferred qualifications and requirements

• A degree or diploma in culinary arts or hotel management is preferred.
• Two years of experience in a similar role at a luxury hotel or resort is preferred.
• Certified knowledge of food and personal hygiene practices is preferred.
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English is required.
• Good personal presentation and interpersonal skills are expected.
• Ability to perform the role to Four Seasons standards is required.
