Role overview

Job responsibilities

• Assist with preparing ingredients, sauces, and dishes relevant to recipes, maintaining Four Seasons consistency and quality.
• Check inventory regularly; ensure ingredients meet quality standards, are stored properly, and are used appropriately.
• Support kitchen staff through efficient food production and timely service.
• Prepare assigned workstations before service hours and ensure necessary tools are available.
• Minimize food waste and dispose of kitchen waste appropriately to support sustainability goals.

Preferred qualifications and skills

• A degree or diploma in culinary arts or hotel management is preferred.
• Two years of experience in a similar position with a luxury hotel or resort.
• Certified knowledge of food and personal hygiene practices.
• Ability to perform the position to Four Seasons standards; good personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English is required.
• An outgoing personality and can-do approach to tasks are sought.
