Role

Responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of the kitchen and delivery of guest dining experiences to a high standard.
• Help maximize guest satisfaction and comfort; respond positively and promptly to enquiries and resolve problems.
• Complete assigned duties in a timely and professional manner and contribute to departmental plans, objectives, hotel initiatives, and targets.
• Help control costs and inventory and attain productivity and performance levels.
• Build effective working relationships and promote company culture and values.
• Comply with legislation and due-diligence and best-practice requirements; document activities and follow up for internal and external audits as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen.
• Adaptability to changing service environments and a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Ability to manage assigned tasks, find creative solutions, and offer recommendations.
• Strong communication and listening skills; ability to collaborate at all levels within the department.
• Personal integrity, commitment to excellence, and ability to handle challenging priorities and assignments.
• Passion for hospitality and an open, positive personality.
