Key Responsibilities

• **Food Preparation & Cooking:*** Assist in the preparation and cooking of Chinese cuisine dishes according to recipes and company standards.
• Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meats, sauces, marinades, and garnishes.
• Support senior chefs during food service operations.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently and attractively.
• Monitor portion control and minimize food wastage.
• **Kitchen Operations:*** Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is handled properly and maintained in good condition.
• Follow kitchen opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries appropriately.
• **Food Safety & Hygiene:*** Follow HACCP and food safety standards at all times.
• Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and temperature control.
• Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Comply with company health and safety regulations.
• **Team Support:*** Work closely with chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Support colleagues during busy operational hours.
• Be willing to learn new cooking techniques and menu items.
• Participate in training and development programs when required.
• **Requirements:*** Previous experience in a Chinese kitchen or similar role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
