- .
- The Main Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Include
- Document inventory of kitchen supplies, and notifying supervisors of low stock situations
- Able to operate kitchen equipment like braising pan, baking ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers etc. Effectively able to set cooking and baking temperatures in a proper manner
- Adept at performing food rotation tasks, to ensure ingredient freshness
- Excellent knowledge of Setting-up the station with par stocks of menu items and carry out all food preparation tasks given by the Demi Chef \| Chef De Partie designated for that station
- Possess knowledge of cooking temperatures, making soups & sauces, preparing entrees, vegetable preparation and a la carte cooking etc.
- Proficient knowledge of replenishing service lines, restocks, and prepares the workstation for the next shift
About You
- The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- 2+ year of experience in a range of kitchen areas; ideally within the luxury hospitality industry.
- Proven commercial kitchen experience.
