- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a Japanese restaurant, sushi bar, or similar food service environment.
- Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine, ingredients, and food preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with sushi preparation, knife skills, and food presentation is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs in preparing and cooking Japanese dishes.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, and garnishes according to restaurant standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food products.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Support inventory control and stock rotation (FIFO).
- Assist in receiving and checking deliveries.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
- Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
