About This Role
- Assist in basic food preparation such as chopping, cutting, and cooking under supervision
- Prepare simple dishes, sandwiches, salads, and beverages for cafeteria service
- Ensure food is prepared and presented according to hotel standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cafeteria area
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP guidelines)
- Assist in receiving, storing, and labeling food supplies
- Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of shortages
- Support senior chefs during busy service periods
- Ensure proper use and care of kitchen equipment
- Dispose of waste properly and keep workstations clean
