Role Description
This is a full-time Commi 1 Pastry role based in Dubai, The Commi 1 Pastry team member will assist in preparing, baking, and finishing pastries, desserts, and gluten-free baked goods in line with Honestry’s clean-label standards and recipes.
Daily tasks include measuring and mixing ingredients, operating bakery equipment, portioning and decorating products, and supporting inventory rotation and mise en place.
The role also involves maintaining strict hygiene and food safety practices, labeling and storing products correctly, and ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation. .
Qualifications
- Strong foundational skills in Bakery and Baking, with hands-on experience in pastry or dessert preparation.
- Creativity skills to support product development, garnish ideas, and visually appealing presentation of gluten-free and clean-label items.
- Solid understanding and practice of Hygiene and food safety standards, including cleanliness, proper storage, and cross-contamination prevention.
- Basic Cooking skills that support pastry production, including preparation of sauces, fillings, and complementary components.
- Prior experience in a professional pastry, bakery, or commercial kitchen environment is a must .
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and instructions accurately while working efficiently under time constraints.
- Willingness to work in a flexible setup in Dubai, including early shifts, weekends, or peak periods as required by business needs.
- Knowledge or interest in gluten-free, clean-label, or health-focused baking is an advantage.
