Position

The role is a Commercial Quantity Surveyor (QS) with Mirodec Gulf.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience; the education listing specifies a bachelor's degree as required.
  • 1–2 years of UAE work experience; the experience listing specifies 2 years as required.
  • Familiarity with UAE construction project regulations, methods, practices, and standards.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, and good verbal and written communication.
  • Experience preparing detailed BOQs and accurate cost reports for construction projects.
  • Glass or metal industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project budgets in line with scope and client expectations; monitor cost ledgers and financial records.
  • Track project costs and contractual commitments; measure quantities from client design drawings.
  • Confirm quantities for progress claims and invoice verification.
  • Reserve available in-house materials through stock booking and coordinate procurement for out-of-stock materials.
  • Assist with preparing and revising contracts and subcontract agreements; prepare and file contractual communications.
  • Prepare monthly progress billing and final account statements.

Schedule

  • Two days off, Saturday and Sunday; office hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Paid overtime is offered.

Compensation

  • Pay is AED 4,000–6,000 per month.
