Role Description
This is a full-time, Commercial Manager (SaaS) role responsible for driving revenue growth and commercial performance across SyndiGate’s software and content solutions.
The Commercial Manager will oversee the full commercial cycle, including pipeline development, forecasting, pricing, and negotiation of SaaS and licensing agreements with new and existing clients.
Day-to-day activities include identifying market opportunities, preparing business cases, shaping go-to-market plans, and collaborating with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery and retention.
The role involves building and managing high-performing commercial teams, setting clear KPIs, and using data to optimize sales strategies and customer lifetime value.
The Commercial Manager will also ensure robust contract management practices, manage risk, and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise accounts and strategic partners.
Qualifications
- Strong commercial management, business planning, and SaaS revenue management skills, with a proven track record in achieving growth targets.
- Advanced analytical skills to interpret financial data, sales metrics, and market insights, and to translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Experience in contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating SaaS, licensing, and enterprise agreements.
- Team management skills, including hiring, coaching, and leading cross-functional or regional commercial teams.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, media, data, or content licensing environments is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.
- Comfort working in a remote, internationally distributed environment and collaborating across time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant professional certifications are a plus.
