Role Description
The Commercial Manager is a part-time role based in Dubai with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site presence with some work-from-home flexibility.
The role focuses on driving commercial performance for The Bay Indian Restaurant by developing and executing pricing, sales, and promotional strategies.
Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing sales data, monitoring costs and margins, and preparing commercial reports to support decision-making.
The Commercial Manager will oversee key contracts, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure that commercial terms are favorable and compliant.
This role will also involve supporting business planning, forecasting demand, and working closely with operations, marketing, and finance teams to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
In addition, the Commercial Manager will help guide and align team efforts to ensure commercial objectives are met while maintaining the brand’s quality and service standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Commercial Management and Contract Management skills to oversee agreements, negotiate terms, and support profitable operations.
- Proven Analytical Skills and Business Planning experience to evaluate performance, develop forecasts, and recommend data-driven strategies.
- Team Management capabilities to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and align staff around commercial goals.
- Experience in F&B, hospitality, or retail environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, manage time independently, and communicate clearly in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and business reporting tools to track KPIs and prepare concise commercial presentations.
