Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial Kitchen Technician based in Qatar.
The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment while adhering to established safety and hygiene standards.
Technicians will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensure the functionality of cooking and food preparation equipment, and communicate effectively with clients to deliver outstanding customer service.
Additionally, maintaining proper records for technical evaluations and service interventions will be required.
Qualifications
- Technical experience with food preparation equipment, cooking appliances, and kitchen machinery
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards applicable to commercial kitchen environments
- Strong communication skills with an ability to explain technical details clearly
- Exceptional customer service skills to effectively address client needs
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Previous experience in commercial kitchens, restaurants, or hospitality is preferred
- A technical certification or relevant qualification in equipment maintenance or repair is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Willingness to be stationed in Qatar and occasionally work beyond standard business hours
