Role overview

Responsibilities

• Oversee sponsorship acquisition, partnership development, and commercial agreements.
• Identify potential sponsors, prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and manage corporate and institutional partner relationships.
• Develop commercial strategies, track revenue targets, and coordinate with the organizing committee.
• Align commercial activities with the congress vision and budget; monitor market trends and report performance.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to optimize value for sponsors and participants.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial management, business planning, and revenue strategy skills.
• Analytical ability to assess market opportunities and sponsorship proposals.
• Sales experience including lead generation, relationship building, negotiation, and closing agreements.
• Team management and cross-functional coordination skills in international, multicultural teams.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Events, conference, or non-profit/technical organization experience is beneficial.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities for multiple part-time initiatives.
• A related bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent professional experience is accepted.
