Commercial/Contracts Manager
**Nature of the Project:** Villa Projects
Duties of the Job
Should have relevant experience in:
1. Contract Management
- Lead the preparation, negotiation, and management of contracts for projects, ensuring terms are favourable and in alignment with project goals.
- Review and assess contract documentation, ensuring that all deliverables, timelines, and costs are accurately defined.
- Monitor contract performance and manage variations, claims, and disputes to ensure compliance with the contract terms.
- Ensure that all contractual obligations are met in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and best practices.
- Liaise with legal teams to resolve contractual disputes and risks, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
2. Cost Management & Budgeting
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively.
- Oversee cost control processes to monitor and track project expenditures, ensuring costs are within budget.
- Provide regular cost reporting and analysis to senior management and stakeholders, identifying any financial risks or opportunities.
3. Procurement & Supplier Management
- Lead the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, services, and equipment.
- Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the best terms and conditions.
- Review supplier contracts and manage the procurement process to ensure value for money and compliance with project needs.
- Manage the procurement team, providing guidance on supplier selection, evaluation, and risk management.
Reporting Line : Commercial Director
- Keys skills required:
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of contract management, financial principles, and cost control.
- Negotiation Skills: Exceptional ability to negotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment terms with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with contracts and project budgets.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret financial data and contracts and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive and solutions-driven approach to addressing project challenges and resolving disputes.
Education Requirements (Including Certification requirements)
- Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- **Minimum Experience in Years:** 15+ years (Relevant UAE experience preferable)

Pay: AED28,000.00 - AED33,000.00 per month
