Commercial Business Analyst

In this role you will:

• Manage the full contract lifecycle, including procurement for new and renewal contracts, commercial risk assessment, supplier negotiations, review of commercial clauses, and maintaining a monitored contract register.
• Ensure accurate billing and revenue management by coordinating with Finance and business stakeholders, resolving billing queries, following up on overdue payments, and monitoring bad debts to support timely settlements.
• Provide analytical, commercial, and financial support for business cases, CAPEX planning, and key management decisions, including preparing cost models, quotations, benchmarking analyses, and KPI dashboards.
• Oversee invoice governance and financial controls, ensuring timely approval of service invoices, alignment with corporate policies, and proactive updates to business leads to prevent service disruptions.
• Support forecasting and budgeting processes by collaborating with Finance and FP&A to monitor financial performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to strengthen financial discipline.
• Manage EFTA student contract processes, including fee and milestone validation, communication of payment procedures, assessment of graduation delays or dropouts on cost, and implementation of mitigation and compensation measures.
• Consolidate and analyse operational and performance data by producing monthly statistical reports (EFTA flying hours, fuel consumption, training metrics) and developing KPI dashboards and benchmarking insights for EFTA and EKAS to support strategic decision making.
