Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal bidding and budget negotiation, using client requirements and internal data to plan resources and budgets.
• Review RFPs for adequate budget-preparation information.
• Lead calls on proposal strategy, customer requirements, and budget strategy or modifications.
• Use the bidding system for accurate bids and timely mapping in client grid templates.
• Finalize customer and internal documents and check accuracy, formatting, and contract compliance.
• Ensure proposals meet client needs and clearly communicate strategy, differentiators, value, and success factors.

Education and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic or vocational qualification.
• Relevant previous experience or equivalent working experience.
• Strong organization, project administration, communication, analytical, and Excel skills.
• Able to manage competing priorities, handle sensitive information, and make sound recommendations.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot is sought, alongside interest in productivity applications.

Workplace

• The office is based in Cambridge; attendance at the site once a quarter is described as ideal.
