Requirements:
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required.
- Certified Orthopaedic Surgery Coder (COSC) certification preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience performing ICD-10 and CPT code assignments in a health care setting required.
- Please provide a cover letter detailing your specific orthopedic surgery, spine surgery, neurospine, and multispecialty coding experience.
- Experience we are Seeking:
- Minimum of 2 years of surgical coding experience within a multi-specialty medical group or multi-specialty physician practice (i.e., Orthopedics, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Gastroenterology)
- Familiarity with ICD-10-CM, CPT-4 coding and payment methodologies.
- Working knowledge of all California and National reporting requirements.
