Responsibilities

  • This position's responsibility is to manage the process of evaluating and tracking water program data, as submitted, in order to analyze and evaluate data for determining compliance with water permits program, regulations and laws. This includes identifying violations and determining appropriate point assessment and formal compliance actions, as necessary. The position provides consistent and timely responses for violations of environmental laws regulations and policies; operates and maintains the CEDS database for compliance violation determinations; and ensures CEDS data accuracy for assigned programs. The position also serves, as applicable, as the assistant e-DMR Regional Administrator.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of office procedures and organizational ability
  • Knowledge of water permits program environmental laws, regulations and agency policies and the ability to interpret and understand these laws and regulations
  • Proficient skills in word processing, computer data entry and database management
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills
  • Ability to gather and analyze data
