Overview
The short version
We built free software for independent hotels.
A full operations kit given away because most small properties cannot otherwise have it.
The product is built and live.
What it does not yet have is someone to take it to market and own that side of the company.
That is the role.
Not an employee, a founder.
You bring in the revenue, you build the growth engine, and you take a real stake in what you build.
Who we are
Tribii is free booking and management software for independent hotels, guesthouses, hostels, and B&Bs.
Independent properties hand 18 to 30% of every reservation to platforms that own the guest after checkout.
We flip that.
Direct bookings come in commission-free, the money lands in the hotelier's own account, and the guest stays theirs.
It was built from a front desk, not a boardroom, by hospitality professionals who watched hoteliers flinch at every OTA line on the invoice.
Free up to twenty-five rooms, forever.
Not a trial.
The actual product, on the same screen a chain hotel runs on, given away because the local house is worth keeping open.
We mean the mission part.
Check our manifesto if you want to know more.
Where we are
We are live.
Properties can sign up and run today.
We just haven't made it official yet, which is exactly the moment a commercial founder wants to walk in.
We've built a great package of hospitality tools and functionalities that will allow hoteliers to centralise all their operations into just one software.
The technology and the hospitality expertise are in place.
What's missing is the engine that turns a good product that helps real businesses into a company that grows.
That's the gap you'd fill.
You wouldn't be joining a startup.
You'd be building it.
What you'd own
You lead everything that brings hotels in and keeps them.
Sales, growth, marketing, partnerships, positioning.
You'll have full autonomy to decide how.
We have ideas, but you're the expert, and we'd rather you tell us than the other way round.
In practice, the first months look like getting independent hoteliers to sign up and stay, building a repeatable way to reach them, and finding the channels and the message that actually move the needle.
From there you build the function, and eventually the team under it.
You
- The person we have in mind ideally has done growth and sales inside a startup, but optionally has also
- worked in hospitality at a management level and knows how a small property actually runs and what a hotelier worries about
- .
- That combination is rare, and it's exactly the one this role wants.
- Strong on one and credible on the other can still work.
- You've driven real growth or sales results, not just managed a function someone else built.
- You can sell. You can sit across from a hotelier or an investor and make the case, in person.
- You know the hospitality world from the inside, ideally from a managing seat.
- You think like an owner, not a hire. High standards, low ego.
- The job matters to you for what it means, not only what it pays. The small, independent house staying open ten years from now is something you actually want.
- You're conscious and in it for the long build. Mission and sustainability are how you think about a business, not a slide at the end.
- SaaS experience is a plus on top of hospitality.
- Based in the Randstad. We're office-oriented and you'll be meeting clients and investors. Dutch is a plus.
- Easy-going and down-to-earth, but seriously professional when it counts.
- What's in it for you
- A real co-founder stake in a company with a built, live product and a clear reason to exist.
- Direct upside. Your work and the value of your share are the same thing. Grow the company and you grow your own stake, no ceiling on it.
- Full ownership of the commercial side. Your strategy, your call.
- The chance to build a credible alternative in a market run by a handful of large platforms.
- A mission that directly keeps independent businesses alive.
- We're not promising a salary we can't pay yet.
- We're offering ownership of what you help build, and an honest path to paying ourselves properly once the company can.
- We're looking for one person to build this with us, for the long run.
