CNC Plasma Cutter Operator – ESAB Machine Experience
We are looking for a skilled CNC Plasma Cutter Operator with hands-on experience operating ESAB plasma cutting machines.
The candidate should be capable of machine setup, program execution, material handling, and ensuring high-quality cutting standards in a fabrication/manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up CNC plasma cutting machines, preferably ESAB systems.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and cutting layouts.
- Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment before cutting operations.
- Prepare and run CNC programs for plasma cutting operations.
- Monitor cutting quality, dimensions, and tolerances during production.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Replace consumables such as nozzles and electrodes when required.
- Ensure optimal material utilization and minimize wastage.
- Follow workshop safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.
- Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to meet daily targets.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Plasma Cutter Operator.
- Hands-on experience with ESAB plasma cutting machines is mandatory.
- Knowledge of G-code/CNC programming basics.
- Ability to read technical and fabrication drawings.
- Familiarity with metal fabrication processes and cutting parameters.
- Good understanding of measuring instruments and quality checks.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards.
