CNC Machining Trainee

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machine tools within a precision manufacturing environment.
• An understanding of small-batch component manufacture, ideally gained in motorsport, aerospace or a similar industry.
• The ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and practical skills for tasks such as deburring, tapping, component handling and packing.
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills, with the ability to create documents and maintain accurate records.
• A clear and professional communicator who works effectively with colleagues across the machine shop.
• A proactive team member who takes accountability and supports shared goals, processes and priorities.
• Self-motivated and results-focused, with the ability to remain composed when working under pressure.
• Respectful, dependable and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Open to challenge and continuous improvement, with the energy and resilience to keep learning and improving.
