Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on CNC & Automation Service Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in CNC machines, industrial automation, and PLC systems, with the ability to handle machine installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and on-site technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission CNC machines and automation systems at client sites
- Perform mechanical alignment, calibration, and machine testing
- Troubleshoot CNC controllers, PLC systems, servo drives, and electrical components
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial machines
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
- Configure machine parameters and support automation integration
- Provide on-site technical support and operator training
- Prepare service reports and maintenance documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machines, automation, or machine installation
- Strong knowledge of CNC systems, PLC programming, and industrial automation
- Experience with machine installation and commissioning on-site
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
Technical Skills
- CNC controllers (Siemens, Fanuc, Syntec or similar)
- PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Servo motors, drives, and motion control systems
- Industrial automation integration
- Mechanical assembly and alignment
Preferred
- Experience with aluminum fabrication / processing machines
- Knowledge of robotics and automated production lines
Personal Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Hands-on and field-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel for site work
