Experience
- 5+ years overall configuration/data-management experience, including 4+ years with ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain CMDB accuracy, completeness, and stewardship with Observability and service owners.
- Govern configuration item lifecycle, ownership, and relationships; investigate duplicate or stale records and coordinate source-owner remediation.
- Maintain approved IRE and source-precedence rules rather than redesigning the platform model.
- Produce reliable ITSM/control evidence and escalate model or security decisions to Digital Workplace.
Required Skills
- Proposed must-haves include CI/class and relationship maintenance, imports/transform maps, IRE/reconciliation troubleshooting, and CMDB health reporting.
- Apply CSDM concepts, ownership attestation, lifecycle controls, and traceable data remediation.
- Distinguish source defects from stewardship gaps.
Key Deliverables
Stewardship and lifecycle procedures, source/owner register, reconciliation controls, quality baseline, and remediation backlog.
Maintain manager-agreed completeness, correctness, and compliance measures and agreed-scope relationships and service links.
Produce attestation/exception and control-ready remediation evidence.
Hand over data dictionaries and BAU runbooks and provide internal training with clear stewardship accountability.
Certifications and Technical Requirements
- Current ServiceNow CSA and ITIL 4 Foundation certifications are proposed mandatory; validate credentials and applicable maintenance status before submission.
- CIS-Discovery, Service Mapping, or relevant CMDB/CSDM learning credentials are desirable.
- AWS Certified, PMP, CISSP, and Azure are listed as example credentials.
