Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates for a Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing at Danat Hotels & Resorts.
The role is responsible for leading the sales and marketing strategy across multiple properties, including setting revenue targets, developing annual sales and marketing plans, and monitoring performance against key metrics.
Day-to-day activities include managing and coaching sales and marketing teams, overseeing key account management, coordinating promotional campaigns, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels.
The Cluster Director will collaborate closely with General Managers and senior leadership to optimize market positioning, drive occupancy and revenue, and identify new business opportunities.
The role involves regular market analysis, participation in industry events, and building strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel or hospitality Sales & Marketing leadership, ideally at a multi-property or cluster level.
- Strong background in developing and executing sales strategies, revenue generation plans, and marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate diverse teams toward shared commercial goals.
- Solid understanding of hospitality market dynamics in the UAE or GCC region, including corporate, leisure, and MICE segments.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, revenue management tools, and digital marketing channels to support sales objectives.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret market data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages, particularly Arabic, are beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site across properties in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility to travel as business needs require.
