The Cluster Assistant Reservations Manager oversees hotel reservations operations and contributes to memorable guest experiences.
Reservations and revenue
- Manage room inventory and availability, group blocks and rooming lists, cut-off dates, rate restrictions, occupancy strategies, and reservations system usage.
- Review and adjust rate strategies, occupancy levels, and promotions to optimize room sales and meet revenue targets.
- Work with Sales and Events to manage group bookings, corporate rates, and special events for revenue opportunities.
Distribution, reporting, and team leadership
- Negotiate rates with third-party booking sites and agents, manage relationships, and ensure reservation procedures are implemented to maximize conversion.
- Prepare and review occupancy, revenue, and forecasting reports to support planning and departmental decisions.
- Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
