Club Manager
About This Role
CLUB MANAGER — Premium Padel Club (Dubai)
We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Club Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our premium padel club in Dubai. You will be the heartbeat of the club — ensuring an exceptional client experience, driving team performance, and maintaining operational excellence across all touchpoints.
What you'll do every day:
Operations & Facility Management
- Conduct a full club walkthrough and opening checklist upon arrival
- Verify consumable products, bar fridge stock levels, and ensure inventory reporting to management
- Manage day-to-day maintenance and facility reporting (courts, lighting, electricity, equipment)
- Implement operational protocols in exceptional situations (bad weather, equipment damage, unforeseen events)
- Optimize the Pro Shop and café point of sale — product displays, digital advertising, layout improvements
Team Leadership & Staff Management
- Lead a morning briefing with the cleaning team to align on daily schedule, task allocation and priorities
- Conduct staff training sessions on client service, soft skills and software usage
- Provide ongoing coaching to staff to optimize performance, engagement and sales
- Support staff throughout the day on software functionalities and correct operational errors in real time
- Cover for absent staff members during schedule adjustments or sick leave
Client Experience & Guest Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guest relations, building genuine relationships and proactively addressing needs
- Handle client requests and complaints outside the reception team's scope, in person and via WhatsApp
- Bring consistent attention to detail across all touchpoints to deliver a premium client experience
Booking, Revenue & Software Management
- Review daily planning, incoming client messages, and monitor booking activity
- Monitor revenue figures and produce sales reports
- Oversee booking software optimization, client profile management and application settings
- Ensure planning is correct with coach schedule and liaise with instructors for upcoming sessions
Marketing & Community
- Boost events daily across community groups to drive engagement and increase bookings
- Report key operational insights, client feedback and special requests to the General Manager
Ad hoc responsibilities:
- Welcome and host external service providers and partners on-site
- Assist in the planning and execution of internal events and partner activations
- Step in as a player replacement to maintain court booking rates
- Support all teams during peak periods, including bar service and booking management
- Produce coach invoices and invoice reconciliation for transmission to management
- Conduct inventory counts and update software with new products
What we're looking for:
Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years in operations management, hospitality, sports club management, or a similar hands-on leadership role
- Proven experience managing teams of 5+ people in a client-facing environment
- Background in sports, fitness, or leisure industry is a strong advantage
- Experience with padel or racquet sports is highly valued but not mandatory
Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management — ability to motivate, train, and hold teams accountable
- Exceptional client service mindset with a natural ability to build relationships
- Rigorous attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards
- Comfortable with booking/POS software and able to troubleshoot in real time
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic and/or French is a plus
- Hands-on, solution-oriented — willing to step in wherever needed
