Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive network security management, including firewall and intrusion prevention system configuration and maintenance, to ensure the security and integrity of the network.
• Continuously monitor, analyze, and respond to network security events, identifying and mitigating potential threats in real-time to prevent security breaches.
• Implement and maintain robust cloud and endpoint security controls across diverse platforms and environments, ensuring the security of cloud-based infrastructure and endpoint devices.
• Lead efficient incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, eradication, and reporting of security incidents, to minimize the impact of security breaches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, ensuring the alignment of security controls with business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of network security principles, including firewall configuration, intrusion prevention systems, and encryption technologies, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a real-world setting.
• Experience with cloud security platforms, including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform, with the ability to implement and manage cloud-based security controls.
• Familiarity with cryptography and encryption technologies, including SSL and TLS, with the ability to apply this knowledge to secure data in transit and at rest.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies.
