About InfoTrack Canada

InfoTrack Canada is a legal technology company developing solutions for law firms, notaries, conveyancers, lenders, government registries, and related partners.

Role overview

The Cloud Infrastructure and DevSecOps Engineer owns Canadian cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines, and supports incident response and emerging AI platform delivery.

The role works within the Global IT team with engineering teams across Australia, the US, and Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Lead staging and production environment separation and deliver a stable topology.
  • Re-architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines to reduce build and deployment times.
  • Build reproducible, auditable, version-controlled infrastructure as code.
  • Provide first-line same-time-zone incident response for Canadian systems.
  • Create on-demand ephemeral environments for AI prototyping.
  • Align infrastructure decisions with business needs and security standards alongside engineering, product, and security teams.
  • Define and report infrastructure reliability, build performance, deployment frequency, and environment-availability KPIs.
  • Coordinate shared platforms, tooling, and standards with global infrastructure and DevOps peers.
  • Own cloud-platform security and compliance, ensure audit readiness, and guide the infrastructure roadmap.

Experience and technical qualifications

  • Five or more years of progressive cloud infrastructure and DevSecOps experience, with hands-on depth in GCP as the primary cloud.
  • AWS, GCP, and Azure hands-on experience is a plus.
  • Experience provisioning infrastructure with IaC tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
  • Strong GitHub and GitHub Actions experience for CI/CD; NX monorepo familiarity is a nice-to-have.
  • Experience automating Windows and Linux server management on cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB, API gateways such as Kong, and routing and networking such as Istio and VPCs.
  • Working knowledge of monitoring and logging tools including Datadog, Elasticsearch, Zabbix, Grafana, and Prometheus.
  • ISO/SOC 2 or equivalent compliance experience is sought; familiarity with Wiz, SIEM, CrowdStrike, penetration testing, and remediation strategy is also requested.

Collaboration and communication

  • Build effective working relationships with developers, engineering managers, technical leads, and solution architects.
  • Equip engineers with tools and insights and maintain an infrastructure-as-code mindset.
  • Use strong documentation and communication skills to make technical environments understandable to engineers and executives.
  • Define, influence, and communicate a cloud infrastructure roadmap.

Compensation

  • Base salary is CAD $130,000–$150,000 per year, with a performance bonus of up to 10% of base salary tied to team and company metrics.
  • Final compensation reflects experience, domain depth, and demonstrated delivery.

Workplace and eligibility

  • The role operates on a hybrid basis and requires regular attendance at a Canadian office.
  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada and reside in Canada throughout employment.
  • The employer does not provide immigration sponsorship for this role.

Role status

This is a newly created position supporting the continued growth and evolving needs of InfoTrack Canada.
