Cloud Engineer - Serverless & Identity (Top Secret/SCI Required)

Responsibilities:
- The engineer will own end-to-end implementation of serverless cloud components, including designing and deploying solutions using Amazon OpenSearch and OpenSearch Serverless, building and maintaining infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK with Python, developing and integrating API Gateway, Lambda, and DynamoDB-based workflows, and implementing identity and access engineering patterns including JWT handling, OAuth flows, Lambda authorizers, CRL validation, and JWKS token validation.
- Required Skills/Experience:
- Amazon OpenSearch and OpenSearch Serverless hands-on implementation
- AWS serverless stack: API Gateway, Lambda, and DynamoDB
- AWS CDK with Python for infrastructure-as-code development
- Identity and access engineering using JWTs and OAuth
- Lambda authorizer development and integration
- Certificate Revocation List (CRL) and JWKS validation
- Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience delivering solutions in a classified or secure enclave environment
- Familiarity with data lake patterns on AWS
Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent)
