Cloud Consultant (Google Cloud)

Overview

• The Cloud Consultant is responsible for building, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure and services.
• You work hands-on to implement secure, scalable, and automated cloud solutions that meet performance and availability goals.
• You support cloud operations, improve infrastructure through automation, and troubleshoot issues.
• This role demands strong technical execution, infrastructure knowledge, and cloud platform skills, serving as a core executor for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Roles and responsibilities:
• Assist in the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions, building standard landing zones.
• Support the development of automation scripts and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Participate in infrastructure assessments using automated discovery tools and assist in planning and executing cloud migrations.
• Manage routine cloud operations, including automated patching, backup and restore operations, and resolving basic to intermediate troubleshooting issues.
• Handle incidents, problems, and changes through integrated ITSM workflows.
• Help implement cloud governance, manage Identity Lifecycle tasks (RBAC/ABAC policies), and enforce compliance standards.
• Contribute to cloud resource optimization by applying FinOps best practices and performance tuning.
• Execute basic Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, drills, and validation checkpoints.
• Support customer workshops, solution demos, and technical documentation during pre-sales engagements.
