Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Systems & Infrastructure Specialist to work on a contractor basis.
As a key contributor to the development of frontier AI models, you will apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems, shaping how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.
This role is unique in its focus on dynamic infrastructure and containerized environments, requiring a deep understanding of systems and infrastructure recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Navigate, troubleshoot, and recover dynamic infrastructure and long-running processes in real-time using command-line tools.
- Master and manage highly containerized environments, including orchestrating dockerized sandboxes and CI/CD workflows.
- Build, maintain, and optimize systems for AI model training and high-throughput compute environments.
- Respond swiftly to system errors, executing dynamic mid-operation replanning and recovery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve infrastructure and system-related issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Terminal-native problem-solving skills, with expertise in navigating and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Dynamic infrastructure recovery, with experience in managing and optimizing containerized environments.
- Mastery of command-line tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows.
- Multilingualism in programming languages, including proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience in building and maintaining high-throughput compute environments for AI model training.
