Hands-on Solutions Architect leading large-scale cloud transformations from concept through production.
Accountable for technical solution quality, execution, and realized business outcomes in collaboration with clients.
Responsibilities
- Understand client business requirements and technical challenges.
- Design secure cloud solutions and end-to-end modernization architectures using cloud services and automation.
- Develop migration roadmaps, cost estimates, and risk assessments.
- Lead infrastructure modernization implementation, including infrastructure as code, configuration management, and testing.
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure.
- Coordinate with sales, engineering, and operations for project delivery.
- Conduct client presentations and demonstrations; contribute to pre-sales solution development and proposals.
- Own technical impact and oversee implementation to achieve measurable business value.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and evolve architectural principles and engineering practices.
- Guide transformation from ideation and proof of concept through scalable deployment and continuous optimization.
Experience and qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant cloud architecture and software development experience.
- Direct experience designing and implementing cloud-solution components on Google Cloud and/or AWS.
- Experience with enterprise architecture, hybrid cloud, and on-premises-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps.
- Experience in network infrastructure, security, application development, and distributed global cloud systems.
- Experience with enterprise technology solutions, evaluation processes, and large-scale computing.
- Hands-on infrastructure automation and configuration management experience, such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, version control, and infrastructure as code.
- Client-facing technical advisory, architectural design, and pre-sales solutioning ability.
- Track record delivering enterprise cloud solutions with substantial business value.
Functional and technical skills
- The role calls for client-ready proposals, architectural presentations, and technical demonstrations.
- Cloud expertise should support assessment of trade-offs and selection of tools for business outcomes.
- Bonus experience includes leading large-scale enterprise transformations or putting horizontal AI automation into production.
Working approach
