Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Terminology Specialist to manage and govern national clinical code sets and healthcare terminologies within the eHealth ecosystem.
The role focuses on ensuring semantic interoperability, maintaining data integrity, and supporting healthcare information systems through standardized clinical terminology management.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, and related healthcare standards.
Mandatory Requirements & Qualification
- **Experience:**
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in clinical terminology management, healthcare informatics, or related field
- **Education:**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related field
- **Technical Skills:**
- Strong knowledge of SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, and related healthcare standards
- Experience in clinical code mapping and terminology governance
- Knowledge of semantic interoperability and healthcare data standards
- Experience supporting eHealth ecosystems and healthcare information systems
- Understanding of Master Patient Index (MPI) and healthcare data integrity processes
- **Mandatory Criteria:**
- Proven experience managing national clinical code sets and terminology standards
- Ability to ensure interoperability across healthcare systems
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills
- GCC/Qatar healthcare sector experience preferred
- Immediate joiners preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage national clinical code sets and terminology standards
- Perform mapping and governance of clinical terminologies across healthcare systems
- Manage SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, and related coding standards
- Support and maintain the core eHealth ecosystem and interoperability frameworks
- Ensure seamless semantic interoperability across integrated healthcare platforms
- Maintain data integrity across the Master Patient Index and related systems
