Recruitment is for experienced Clinical Social Workers for a new specialist mental health and wellbeing service in the UAE.
The service uses a holistic, multidisciplinary approach and offers individualized programmes supporting recovery, rehabilitation, personal growth, and long-term wellbeing.
The role works alongside psychiatrists, physicians, psychologists, nurses, and other psychosocial professionals.
Role responsibilities
- Provide coordinated, person-centred support to individuals and their families once the service is operational.
- Contribute to developing and implementing psychosocial care pathways, safeguarding processes, and standards of care.
Essential criteria
- BSc in Social Work from a recognized and accredited institution and a Master's degree in Social Work.
- At least two years of post-qualification professional experience in a related field; fluent Arabic is required.
- Meet UAE DOH Professional Qualification Requirements for Clinical Social Worker licensing.
- Hold valid professional registration or licensure in the country of practice, where applicable, and be in good standing.
- Experience in psychosocial, safeguarding, and risk assessments; understanding of person-centred, recovery-focused care.
- Confident working as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team.
Location and work arrangement
- Full-time, permanent role based on site in the UAE, commutable from Abu Dhabi and Dubai; international relocation is required.
Salary and benefits
- Annual tax-free salary of £54,000 GBP / 264,000 AED.
- Benefits include an annual air ticket, initial relocation flight, private medical insurance, covered professional licence costs, visa sponsorship, career growth and CPD, and relocation allowance up to AED 30,000.
