Role Description
The Clinical Operations Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi.
The person in this role will oversee day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring that workflows, staffing, and resources support safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
include coordinating clinical activities, monitoring performance indicators, and resolving operational issues in collaboration with clinical and administrative teams.
The Clinical Operations Manager will support clinical research initiatives, align processes with regulatory and institutional requirements, and contribute to standard operating procedures.
The role also involves managing timelines for clinical projects, supporting Clinical Research Associates, and providing regular updates and reports to leadership.
Qualifications
- Strong Clinical Operations experience, including oversight of daily clinical workflows and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
- Background in Clinical Research and experience working with Clinical Research Associates to support studies and trials.
- Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of clinical projects and initiatives.
- Ability to conduct and interpret Research to support evidence-based decision-making and process improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field (e.g., Nursing, Pharmacy, Medicine, Public Health, or similar); advanced degree is an advantage.
- Knowledge of clinical quality standards, patient safety principles, and relevant regulatory or ethical guidelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Experience in a hospital, clinic, or research setting in the UAE or GCC region is preferred.
