Role Description

The Clinical Operations Manager will oversee and coordinate clinical activities that support horticultural research and trials within Royal Brinkman UK’s operations in Abu Dhabi.

This part-time hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on-site presence at grower or trial locations and flexible work-from-home arrangements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and managing clinical and field research projects, supervising clinical research associates and external partners, and ensuring that study protocols, timelines, and budgets are met.

The role involves monitoring data quality, maintaining regulatory and ethical compliance, preparing progress reports, and communicating findings to internal stakeholders and clients.

The Clinical Operations Manager will collaborate closely with technical, commercial, and research teams to translate trial outcomes into practical, sustainable solutions for growers.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in clinical operations, including oversight of daily clinical activities and coordination of multi-site or field-based studies.
  • Proven background in clinical research and research methodology, with the ability to design, implement, and evaluate research protocols.
  • Experience working with or leading Clinical Research Associates, including training, performance oversight, and quality monitoring.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Familiarity with regulatory, ethical, and quality standards relevant to clinical or field research; experience in GCP or similar frameworks is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Agriculture, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, manage multiple priorities, and travel locally within the Abu Dhabi region as required.
