Job Summary

The Clinic Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors.

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front office operations, coordinating appointments, and supporting administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic functioning.

Key Responsibilities:Patient Reception & Customer Service

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
  • Assist patients with registration, updating personal information, and completing required forms.
  • Provide accurate information about clinic services, doctors’ schedules, and procedures.
  • Manage patient inquiries through phone, email, and in-person.
  • Ensure a positive and welcoming environment at all times.

Appointment & Scheduling Management

  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
  • Coordinate doctors’ calendars and keep track of daily schedules.
  • Notify patients of appointment reminders and follow-ups.
  • Handle walk-in patients efficiently.

Insurance & Billing Support

  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies for approvals and benefits checks.
  • Collect consultation fees, co-payments, and maintain accurate billing records.
  • Assist in preparing daily cash collections and reports.

Administrative & Clerical Duties

  • Answer incoming calls professionally and route them to the correct department.
  • Maintain patient files, records, and ensure confidentiality.
  • Assist with data entry, scanning, and document management.
  • Prepare daily reports and support clinic management when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and waiting area.

Compliance & Safety

  • Follow clinic policies, health regulations, and confidentiality protocols (HIPAA equivalents).
  • Assist in handling patient complaints or redirecting them to the appropriate person.
  • Support emergency procedures when required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Arabic Receptionist
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a receptionist, preferably in a medical/clinic setting.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of medical insurance and authorization process (preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and clinic management software.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
  • Customer-focused and strong interpersonal skills.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma in Healthcare Administration is an advantage.

Working Hours

  • As per clinic schedule (shift-based if required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
