Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing merchants, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience and delivering ongoing operational and client service support within the payment gateway ecosystem.
Handling Onboarding For Newly Signed Merchant Applications
- Act as the primary point of contact for newly signed merchants.
- Check and verify the documents submitted by newly signed merchants and prepare the agreement once all required documents are received.
- Maintain records of application statuses in the CRM and save all supporting documents for company records.
- Review merchant websites to ensure that the business activity matches the declared Line of Business (LOB) and does not fall under any prohibited categories.
- Prepare and send agreements to merchants.
- Submit completed applications to the bank once all required documents have been received, the agreement has been signed, and the merchant's website has been verified as compliant with all applicable requirements.
- Implementing the Framework
- Identify and assess merchant information requirements, including preferred content and communication timing, to support rapid activation of newly onboarded merchants, drive increased transaction volumes from existing merchants, and strengthen long-term client retention.
First-Line Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for live merchant queries across multiple channels, providing timely support and resolution while coordinating with relevant internal teams when required, and maintaining end-to-end ownership of issue resolution and client communication.
- Conduct training sessions for merchants on the merchant dashboard, highlighting and clarifying the various system features while gathering insights into customer requirements and friction points, ensuring clients maximize the value of Telr’s products and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience as a trainer is an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Arabic language proficiency is required.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the payment gateway or banking sector.
