As a Client Executive, you play a pivotal role as the trusted advisor supporting customers with their transformations - driving outcomes, expanding relationships, and growing NetApp's business through its integrated cloud, data, storage, security, and AI- ready platform.
This is a role for sellers who want real ownership, complex challenges, and the opportunity to make a visible impact
Job Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of customers’ strategies, goals, challenges, risks, and transformation priorities, and connect them to NetApp’s differentiated unified platform and solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor by combining business acumen, technical curiosity, and solution expertise to guide customer transformation journeys.
- Demonstrate a strong hunting mentality by identifying whitespace opportunities, new workloads, emerging buyer personas, and expansion paths across your territory.
- Execute with disciplined sales excellence, including pipeline management and forecast accuracy, leveraging MEDDICC for effective discovery and qualification.
- Drive in-quarter deal execution while building multi-quarter account plans that generate demand and address customers’ most critical pain points.
- Lead and orchestrate an integrated pursuit team to deliver a seamless customer experience, and ensure a structured post-sales handoff to Customer Success with a clear value realization plan aligned to the original business case.

- You understand hybrid cloud architectures, data and AI platforms, and consumption economics, and can translate technology decisions into measurable KPI impact for executives.

- You thrive in whitespace, identifying new workloads, uncovering new buyers, and turning customer challenges into high-value opportunities.
- You are a credible executive seller who drives solution-based selling through tailored discovery, compelling storytelling, and value creation aligned to diverse buying personas across IT, Finance, Procurement, Security, Data/AI, and business leadership.
- You confidently build ROI and TCO models, structure deal economics, and guide executives through financial decisions with clarity and credibility.
- Your communication is clear, timely, and tailored to each audience. Customers trust your ability to simplify complexity, define next steps, and guide them to the right outcomes.
- You believe in orchestration, clarity, and empowerment, leveraging partners, specialists, and internal teams as force multipliers. You are committed to fostering a culture of belonging, where diverse perspectives drive stronger outcomes.
