Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, store and issue spares, repairable and materials in accordance with verbal instructions,
- supply and warehouse workflows, procedures and work instructions.
- Pull and stock spares and materials in bin and pallet locations using manual or powered equipment.
- Facilitate the loading/unloading of containers and delivery vehicles using manual or powered equipment.
- Review and accurately complete all documentation.
- Facilitate document control by following the document workflow process.
- Understand and operate SAP as it pertains to assigned duties.
- Assist the Lead, and Supervisor, Central Issuing with the research of issue and receipt discrepancies to
- resolve transaction differences between SAP and applicable documentation.
- Assist with cycle counts and facilitate causative research.
- Maintain appropriate housekeeping standards as directed.
- Be aware of the importance of physical security and the vulnerability of spares in the warehouse.
- Conduct cross-training as required to become proficient within multiple supply functions.
- Safely operate powered equipment in the warehouse and loading dock area.
- Perform “on-call” duties as assigned.
- Ensure all issued tools, test equipment and high-value property is maintained in a serviceable condition,
- routinely inventoried and safeguarded.
- Support other members of the Warehouse Operations and Distributions Department in fulfilling their roles.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company documents.
- Perform other duties as required by the Manager, Warehouse Operations & Distribution and Director,
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience working in the warehousing of spares and materials is preferred.
- Previous experience or automotive training is preferred.
- The ability to prioritise work and remain task/project focussed is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills are preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and experience with Computerised Maintenance Management
- Systems (CMMS) such as SAP is required.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
- Have, or be able to obtain a valid UAE driver’s and forklift license
