As a Clerical Associate (CA) , you’ll play a key role in keeping the unit running smoothly by supporting clinical staff and ensuring clear, timely communication across the care team, patients, and families.

In this 32-bed Observation Unit, patients are typically evaluated, treated, and diagnosed within 8–24 hours.

Your work helps ensure seamless coordination of care—whether a patient is admitted or discharged—making you an essential link in the care journey.

• Coordinate daily unit operations to support RNs, physicians, and ancillary staff
• Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers
• Use communication devices to support unit workflow and coordination
• Communicate technical and regulatory information clearly and professionally to patients, families, and care teams
• Help maintain efficient patient flow in a fast-paced, critical thinking environment

• Basic Life Support: Health Care Provider certification within six months of hire
• Completion of a high school education or equivalent (GED) preferred
