Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Restaurant Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the restaurant.
The ideal candidate will ensure all dining, kitchen, and restroom areas are clean, sanitized, and presentable at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dining areas, tables, chairs, floors, and countertops.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms regularly and replenish supplies.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to health and safety standards.
- Wash windows, doors, and other surfaces to maintain a clean appearance.
- Assist in cleaning kitchen equipment, storage areas, and food preparation areas as directed.
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Support restaurant staff with general cleaning duties during and after operating hours.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience in a restaurant, hotel, or commercial environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays if required.
