Role Description

The Cleaner is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards in assigned areas.

Daily tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping surfaces in rooms, corridors, restrooms, and common areas, as well as emptying trash and replacing liners.

The role involves using cleaning equipment and approved chemicals safely, following company procedures and schedules, and reporting any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.

The Cleaner may assist with setting up and tidying guest or staff areas, replenishing supplies, and supporting special cleaning projects as required.

The position requires consistent punctuality, adherence to health and safety guidelines, and professional interaction with clients, guests, and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Strong practical cleaning skills, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom sanitation.
  • Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment safely, and follow instructions for handling cleaning chemicals and materials.
  • Good time management and organizational skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently and meet daily schedules.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
  • Basic communication skills to understand instructions, report issues, and interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry cleaning materials for extended periods as part of daily duties.
  • Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or facility services (hospitality, commercial, or residential) is an advantage but not always required.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed, and to follow company policies, safety procedures, and uniform standards.
