Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize café areas including dining areas, counters, restrooms, kitchen surfaces, and staff areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors
- Clean tables, chairs, windows, doors, and other fixtures
- Dispose of waste and recyclables properly
- Refill cleaning supplies and restroom consumables as needed
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Support café staff with cleaning during peak or closing hours when required
Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred (café or hospitality experience is an advantage)
- Knowledge of basic cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and time management skills
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, bend, and lift cleaning equipment
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends or evenings
